Ravenox is proud to join the list of vetted businesses that is owned and operated by a Reconnaissance Marine. Ravenox CEO, Sean Brownlee, served with 2D Recon BN and 2D Force Reconnaissance Company and deployed to Kosovo, Iraq and areas throughout the Middle East, Africa and Europe with Reconnaissance units.
With a desire to serve his country outside of the military Sean formed Ravenox to create jobs, bring manufacturing back to America and help American companies grow and stay relevant in the 21st century. It all started with rope – something very familiar to Reconnaissance Marines. With experience rappelling, fast roping from helicopters, SPIE rigging, parachuting and understanding how important it is to have only the best ropes and cords Ravenox started on its’ way.
ABOUT THE MARINE RECONNAISSANCE FOUNDATION:
“HONORING OUR NATION’S FINEST AND SUPPORTING THEIR FAMILIES AT EVERY STEP”
The Marine Reconnaissance Foundation (MRF) is committed to serving the Marine Reconnaissance Community and its veterans by providing active and continual assistance for active-duty team members, support for the wounded and family-support programs. The Foundation aims to provide both ad-hoc and long-term support for the Reconnaissance Marines, and the Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsmen deployed abroad, their spouses and their children settled in the United States in four key areas.
MARINE RECONNAISSANCE FOUNDATION HISTORY
With the ongoing global war on terror, the Reconnaissance Marines and Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsmen have played a significant role in keeping America safe from imminent threats.
MRF recognizes the services, strategic capabilities, and innumerable advanced military and combat tactics of the Marine Reconnaissance Units. Incorporated in 2013, the Foundation works towards the welfare and benefit of the serving members, retired members and family members of deceased combatants being the first ever organization to assist the Marine Reconnaissance Community in the United States.
MISSION
We envision and veteran-citizen partnership that is geared towards providing unconditional assistance and continual support for the Marine Reconnaissance Family. We aim to provide financial, technical, educative, and constant support to all on-duty Marine Recon personnel. Our commitment to the Marines goes a long way, and we pride ourselves in our ability to serve the finest, in any and every way that we can.

Despite the significant contributions made by the Marine Reconnaissance Forces towards National Security, their services remain unrecognized by most. Many organizations, funds, and corporations are assisting other military personnel. We, however, honor the services of the brave men of the Marine Reconnaissance Community, as well as their immediate family members. Serving the best of our Nation to the best of our abilities has been our guiding philosophy, and we strictly adhere to it.
